A man of the Greek Presidential Guard wearing Pontian traditional attire fainted during the ceremony to commemorate the Pontian Genocide (May 19) on Friday.
The incident occurred at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, in front of the Greek Parliament at Syntagma Square. The guard felt sick and fainted. The other guards rushed to bring him back to consciousness.
After he regained consciousness, the man participated in the change of guard as usual.
